Operator of a 25-square-mile Acreage Block

Located in the Permian Basin of West Texas

At Roosevelt Resources, we are rooted in a legacy of leadership and expertise that has positioned us to seek to produce a high volume of oil in an environmentally-conscious manner. Since 2007, we have assembled a large oil project spanning 16,000+ contiguous acres in the Permian Basin, containing an estimated gross ~1.35B barrels of oil-in-place (Schlumberger Study – August 2024). The acreage position will be produced as a CO2 enhanced oil recovery (EOR) project.

Due to the geologic characteristics of our CO2 EOR project, the production of our oil-in-place will benefit from the utilization and storage of our internally estimated ~200MM metric tons of CO2 in the planned development process.

Our large 25-square-mile project is expected by us to recover over the estimated 70-year life of the project 835 MMBO, 122 MMB natural gas liquids (NGL), and 650 Bcf residue natural gas. The project would represent a positive intersection of a significant Texas Oilfield and the reduction of significant amounts of anthropogenic (man-made) CO2.

A Family Legacy Dating Back to 1916

Roosevelt and Googins families have owned surface and minerals in NW Yoakum County, Texas since 1916. Today, we own and operate ~22,000 gross leasehold and mineral acres located roughly six miles north of Plains, Texas. Our founder, Tony Roosevelt has been in the oil business for over 60 years and has a track record of building companies and developing large oil and natural gas projects.

Our Company Pillars

Effective & Efficient Operation of a Large Texas Oilfield

<p>Our 25-square-mile CO2 EOR project is large in terms of expected oil recovery. We plan to develop the project as a CO2 EOR unit under Texas law.</p>

Seeking Superior Economics

<p>By using existing technology in our unique way, we will be producing “carbon-advantaged” oil and natural gas that could significantly enhance production compared to conventional enhanced recovery methods. We anticipate that the project will produce greater than 40,000 gross barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) within the first 10 years of the project life and remain at that pace for the several decades.</p>

Environmentally Friendly

<p>The hydrocarbons we expect to produce will be “carbon-advantaged.” Our goal is to leave a larger amount of anthropogenic (man-made) CO2&nbsp;stored in the ground than the amount of CO2&nbsp;that will be emitted from the hydrocarbons produced. <span>We believe t</span>his process <span>ca</span><span>n</span> create low-to-negative carbon hydrocarbons over the life of the project.</p>

Built by a Strong Team

<p>Our team is comprised of experienced industry professionals - leaders who have a deep understanding of how to build and execute a project of this nature, and have the expertise and relationships required for such implementation.</p>

Our Business Strategy

Leveraging Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage For Cleaner Energy

At Roosevelt Resources, we are rooted in a legacy of leadership and expertise that has positioned us to seek to produce a significant volume of oil and gas in an environmentally positive way.

Our mission is to convert greenhouse CO2 into a beneficial tool to liberate stranded oil and gas reserves, and to leave the CO2 itself stranded in the evacuated underground space, replacing the liberated oil reserves. We expect a near mass balance or slightly in favor of more CO2 remaining in the ground than the utilized oil and gas will create, while providing vitally needed energy for our country and the world.

We believe that our innovative positioning of commonly used horizontal wells will significantly improve the current standard of EOR.

We intend to place pairs of horizontal CO2 injectors with producers stacked just above, thus taking advantage of the buoyancy of CO2 to push oil and gas upward, while also using Earth’s natural layering to laterally disperse CO2, thus significantly improving CO2 to oil contact, versus conventional EOR flooding. Our project should allow for this technology to be replicated numerous times.

We will seek to maximize the use of anthropogenic (man-made) CO2, thus keeping costs low coupled with removal of atmospheric carbon high while using managed AI to control field operations and to optimize injection and production balances.

We are seeking to establish CO2 capture and storage partners with regional industrial emitters, thus providing profitable US sourced energy through a decarbonizing process.

Our Innovative Use of Horizontal Wells

We believe our unique use of horizontal wells will allow us to recover significantly greater hydrocarbons compared to conventional straight-hole methods. Peak hydrocarbon production is expected to be approximately 40,000 gross boed in approximately 12 years and will be sustained over several additional decades.

Our Minimized Carbon Footprint

Our project will seek to address two critical needs:

  1. The continued responsible development of oil and natural gas for our nation and the world’s consumption for decades to come.
  2. The desired decarbonization of our planet.

Estimates of produceable and recoverable hydrocarbons are dependent on many factors, including the costs of development and operations, capital expenditures to be made and actual prices received for oil and natural gas. Estimates of produceable and recoverable hydrocarbons are not estimates of reserves prepared in accordance with regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).
